A twenty-five year professional in Market Intelligence and Communications, Karl Ackermann founded WriteSpace, LLC with the purpose of helping non-fiction and business writers tell their stories through best practices in technique and research.

Karl is an accomplished professional writer who has authored hundreds of published articles and papers. He holds a Master of Science in Management Communications, a Bachelor of Arts, in Communications and Media and has served as an instructor of Marketing Research as a Communication Tool at Manhattanville College, School of Graduate Studies.

His writing has been published in The New York Times and he is a contributor to National Public Radio (NPR) and his first book will be published in 2018.  Karl is the author of the monthly column Under the Radar with more than 100,000 readers.  More than 300 of his essays and interviews have appeared in All About Jazz,Chicago Jazz Magazine and The New York Jazz Record.  He is a contributing writer to Deepak Chopra's "Home" Project.  Karl is a member of the National Association of Independent Writers and Editors and the Jazz Journalists Association.
